While her daddy bought me a real ring, this is the jewel my kid gave me.  So cute and so innocent.  Please don’t grow up too quite .. pixie-face.

My kid’s version of pancake.. that she made for me.. and insisted that i eat it.  I’ll have to say .. she is definitely imaginative .. and creative.  And she was so zealous.. and even when i told her i was quite full from eating “real dinner” .. she said..  “it’s only tending” as in pretending.  Muahahaha!!!  persistent she was.

Before having my kid.. i buy books because i like the author.  After having my kid, I buy books because firstly, they gotta be cheap and secondly a chick flick or a parenting book.  What a change in my life…. and what a child can do to the parents.  I’m sure i speak for all mothers in the world… except the 1% like my mum.

As we ushered the old year out .. and welcome the new year .. i feel pretty pleased with myself.. for raising funds.. for my kid’s school.  Asking for money from strangers.. is no easy feat.. i’ll have to tell you .. but when i think what an unselfish act it is.. and the many kids that will enjoy the playground because of my hard work.. i can tell you it’s worth a million bucks.

The beginning of a dollhouse planned by the kid’s grandfather.  That’s only the base, hopefully, it will be done by next summer.  But knowing the kid’s grandfather.. hmmm…it should be done at least by fall.  He is feeling better the last time i saw him.

Ready made cookie dough are definitely the best invention.  Great for father & daughter’s time.. and bonding.  It was fun for the kid .. of course.. not so much for the dad.. since he had to do all the work.. but it turned out really good.  We loved the cookies, nothing beats cookies made with love.

Yes..! the kid is spoilt.  A gift of a guitar .. a real one .. Kawasaki from the babysitter’s parents.  I wished they didn’t spend so much money on her.  But the kid loves it.. so I’m thinking of doing things back for them… but don’t know where to start.

Going to school ..  definitely made my kid a lot more understanding.  She learned a lot of things.. and this is her first gift to me.. this Christmas.  Although, she bought it with our money and all.. but it was very thoughtful what she chose.  For me a necklace and a card of her handprint and photo.  For her papa, she had a touque and a glove.  It was heartwarming for sure.

The lil’ lunch bag was what we bought from the kid’s school for a fund raising thing.  A week ago, we received another one .. which said it was back ordered.  We promptly returned it to the school.. because it doesn’t belong to us.. and ours had arrived.  Honesty is very important to me.. and if i want my kid to be honest.. i have to set an example.  For all those cheaters out there.. if you are cheating . .to get a measly few bucks, you know your kids will also grow up and cheat you too.  Instilling good morale is darn important.. and it starts with you .. and if you think they don’t know.. man .. are you in for a rough ride in the future.
