Going to school .. definitely made my kid a lot more understanding. She learned a lot of things.. and this is her first gift to me.. this Christmas. Although, she bought it with our money and all.. but it was very thoughtful what she chose. For me a necklace and a card of her handprint and photo. For her papa, she had a touque and a glove. It was heartwarming for sure.
The Wii remains the most sought after gaming system once again this year, even though it had been launched 3 Christmases ago to date. The Nintendo Wii was sold out a month ago even though some folks from this town were crazy enough to queue up outside the local mall for it as early as 6.30am. 2 weeks before Christmas we had walk-ins, calls and many inquiries as to how they can get a Wii, since Walmart and even Amazon were sold out. Some customer had tried eBay but most of the sellers were trying to cash in on the demand for it, but in my opinion it’s not worth paying that kind of price.

Love my own present to myself. It isn’t anything expensive.. but i had wanted one for a long time. The first one i bought i had given it to the man’s mother.. because it was with owls.. and i know she loves owls. But these days.. i try to take care of myself first.. but i’m not always successful.. as you can see. A small and personal gift to treat myself.. once in a while is a good thing eh.
Etsy is a life – saver. Not only did i get something for myself i liked for Christmas.. but ialso gifts for my friends and family. It’s an awesome way to get something personal for them.. and at least i was on time this time.
The lil’ lunch bag was what we bought from the kid’s school for a fund raising thing. A week ago, we received another one .. which said it was back ordered. We promptly returned it to the school.. because it doesn’t belong to us.. and ours had arrived. Honesty is very important to me.. and if i want my kid to be honest.. i have to set an example. For all those cheaters out there.. if you are cheating . .to get a measly few bucks, you know your kids will also grow up and cheat you too. Instilling good morale is darn important.. and it starts with you .. and if you think they don’t know.. man .. are you in for a rough ride in the future.
A pink dell laptop of the babysitter, very pretty indeed..!! but i would never spend that kinda money on it. I’m pretty el cheapo as you can see. But for others.. they think that i’m being cautious.. which is always good. I am not one to spend money before having it… a really good habit if i must say so myself.
Ingrid came to visit. Ohh.. so sweet she is..!! i can’t help but think how much she look like her daddy. Isn’t she cute or what..?? Her father is the man’s oldest friend.
Our Christmas tree finally up.. !! just short of 10 days before Christmas. Yes.. LED lights for the tree which is turned on .. till New Year’s day. Time to celebrate..?? not really .. more work .. to do .. and still wondering .. if i should go to the man’s parents place for Christmas.
A very old fashioned Christmas decor at the hospital. Seems so plain .. and at a place .. not really that beautiful. I bet these figurines must have cost the hospital a lot of money eh..?? oh well.. they do have the money.. afterall, they are being paid so well.. and they charge us a fortune for health care.. even though we don’t really pay for it.. but still it is the tax payer’s money.. so it is our money afterall right..??
I need to go wax my eyebrows.. and also my lips. I don’t know about you but shaping my eyebrows and taking out those ugly lip hair is VERY important to me. I feel absolutely awesome after having them done. What about you ..?? do you let your underarm hair and your bushy eyebrows run wild..?? and look like a man with a moustache on your upper lips..?? i can’t imagine anyone not taking care of themselves.
